This course of study provides you information on the Personnel Career Field, Disclosure of Information, System Fundamentals, Military Personnel Data System, Personnel Concept-III, Personnel Readiness, and sustainment Functions. This will introduce you to personnel functions and activities. You will understand Military Personnel Data System; explain your role in personnel readiness, and provide information on Personnel Sustainment Functions and Personnel Support for Contingency Operations responsibilities, composition, accountability and reports.

This course of study provides you with information on commanders support staff functions and programs. We cannot overly stress how your assistance in monitoring these programs helps ensure mission accomplishment. You will be introduce to the unit leave program; discuss the enlisted performance feedback, individual newcomer treatment orientation program, and subsistence programs; we will cover unit quality force program that are initiated at the unit level and duty status reporting.

Personnel Journeyman - Customer Service Functions
This course of study provides you with information on customer service: records management functions, customer assistance programs, and the Air Force Casualty Services Program. You will be introduced to records management functions; discuss procedures for managing identification card issuance and retrieval, and you will cover the casualty services program. Here you will learn about the unit Personnel Record Group, application for correction of records, and the military joint-spouse program.  Also, you will learn how performance in the government life insurance program assists in the personal affairs of your customers.

This course of provides you with information on the functions you perform and programs you manage while assigned to the personnel relocations element. You are introduced to the Air Force Assignment System, a system designed to place the right person in the right job at the time so the Air Force mission can be accomplished. You will cover the family members' tavel and active duty service commitments programs and the PREs involvement with these program. Also, you will cover the separation and retirement policies, programs, and procedures.

Personnel Journeyman - Personnel Employment Function
This course will require concentrated efforts -- do not take the course lightly. This course of study provides you with information on the functions you perform and programs you manage while assigned to the personnel employment function. You are introduced to the Air Force Classification System, classification being the method which ensures the right people are doing the right job, and are advancing in terms of proficiency and awarded skill level. We discuss various personnel employment functions. This course range from the personnel reliability program to maintaining manning rosters and wing manpower policies and impact. After you satisfactorily complete this volume you will be ready to review the previous two volumes and take your pre-end-of-course test.
